The Han-D-Icer takes the stress out of getting thick ice off a windshield.

Hundreds of thousands of people deal with this stress every day and we have a solution.  The Han-D-Icer places a layer of thin wires between the ice and the windshield so that when it comes time to get the thick ice off, merely pulling the device up gets it removed with a minimal amount of effort.

Traditional Ice Scrapers are messy, and require time and effort to use. Windshield screens tend to be flimsy and can blow or slide off with wind.  Additionally, screens can get stuck to the windshield with even moderately thick ice.  An ice scraper is fine for frost and such, but thick ice presents a unique problem. Thick ice can take as long as twenty minutes to remove from a windshield, so being able to remove it in ten seconds is easy and convenient.

The current prototype works like a window blind, with a tube containing spools that pull out, rather than the old prototype of fixed wires on a lattice.  This aids in functionality and portability.
